USPAL Network (US Pregnancy After Loss Network)

The USPAL Network (US Pregnancy After Loss Network) is a collaboration of the Mt Sinai Rainbow Clinic, the Columbia University Rainbow Clinic, the University of Utah Pregnancy After Loss clinic (UPAL), the Natalie Foundation, and the Iris Fund, in affiliation with the International Rainbow Clinic Network (IRCN).

Our aim is to improve care in pregnancy after loss—including patient experience, mental health outcomes, and birth outcomes—by adapting the IRCN model to the US context and increasing access to this adapted model through supporting its replication across the US, always evidence-based and driven by the data.

Our clinical directorate includes Dr Joanne Stone (Mt Sinai), Dr Uma Reddy (Columbia), and Dr Bob Silver (University of Utah). The Utah Stillbirth Center of Excellence (USCOE) serves as the collaboration’s secretariat.
