The 2024 application cycle is now open, we will be following the SMFM Guidelines for application deadlines:

  • April 28, 2024 — Deadline for applications to be included in the first notification
*We encourage applicants submit their application through ERAS 1-2 weeks prior to the deadline, if possible. (April 14th-April 21st, 2024)
  • May 20, 2024 — Single notification date for interviews.

Two positions are available annually in our Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship on a competitive basis. Candidates may apply through the ERAS Fellowship site.

Interview Day

This year our interviews will be held remotely using Zoom meetings. A happy hour the evening before will be arranged so that interviewees can meet the fellows in an informal setting. The interview day itself will feature information about our program, a virtual welcome to Salt Lake City, and interviews with MFM faculty.

MFM Fellowship Executive Committee

The MFM Fellowship Executive Committee exists to make the fellowship the best it can be. It is comprised of 8 of the MFM Faculty which include the Fellowship Program Director and Associate Program Directors.  The Committee’s main function is to provide support to its trainees. The Committee meets monthly to discuss fellowship program updates and proactively address areas for improvement in the fellowship. Nothing is done within the fellowship without all the members knowing and agreeing upon it.

The Fellowship Committee designees also meets monthly with the fellows at a “Fellow Huddle” to update them on the program and get feedback from the fellows.  Finally, the Fellowship Committee is in charge of reviewing fellowship applications, interviewing prospective candidates, and determining the fellowship rank list with input from key faculty and other fellows.
